WHO IS WPW AND WHAT DO WE DO?

Waunakee Professional Women assist Waunakee area families, groups and organizations in need through our community fundraising efforts. We assist those in financial need, raise funds to support mental health awareness and offer events that bring support to Waunakee businesses and so much more.

Some of WPW’s wonderful fundraising events include our Sip & Chip Golf Outing, Holiday Wine Walk, and several events included in our Merrier Waunakee Christmas like the Holiday Home Tours.

WPW also offers scholarships to graduating females who are pursuing a business-minded education or a career in the trade industry.

Waunakee Professional Women is a non-profit charitable organization and recognized as tax exempt by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3). WPW is run by women who own businesses, work and/or live in the Waunakee School District.

WPW HOSTED EVENTS

Our events aren’t just fun, they’re the money making machines that help us help our community! The profits from ticket sales goes to community causes and scholarships for our young women. There isn’t a better way to give back!

Sip n' Chip Golf Outing

June 18, 2024

This annual event raises money for Alzheimer’s and Dementia research and awareness. Bring your clubs and join us on the course for 18 holes and a great cause.

Holiday Wine Walk

November 17, 2023

Stroll through two main streets in Waunakee visiting 15 shops and boutiques sipping and making memories. Proceeds go to people in need throughout the community.

Merrier Waunakee Christmas

November 30 – December 3, 2023

This multi-day extravaganza is a can’t miss event. From dueling pianos to an ugly sweater pub crawl and the hot cocoa walk, there are so many options for the family to enjoy.

DID YOU KNOW WE OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS?

We do! Offering scholarships lets us invest in the young women in Waunakee who’ve invested in us.

$1,000 is granted annually to two female high school graduates from Waunakee. These WPW scholarship recipients have an interest in business/ entrepreneurship, strong work ethic, and involvement in the community.

Are you or do you know someone who would meet the requirements for our scholarship? We’d love to hear from you. Since WPW’s inception, we’ve proudly awarded scholarships since 2017 and invite you to apply to be a part of that wonderful group of women!
